At the first meeting of the "Metode Numerik" course, I gained an understanding of the concept and application of the Numerical Method in solving mathematical problems through a numerical approach. This course also alludes to the importance of human awareness in accepting and processing problems, aiming to find solutions. In one of our class examples, we examine the expression (x^2-1)/(x-1) whereby direct substitution of x=1 results in 0/0 which is a number that does not have a consistent solution or logically defined. Then another method is used, such as limit or value approximation, the result is 2. However, this number is not absolute. Numerical methods are used to perform calculations and use the approach that produces the closest accurate value. It is important to note that these values are not certain, because absolute truth only comes from God Almighty
