Frame3DD merupakan sebuah software yang dapat membantu menganalisis kondisi struktur sebuah sistem. Input masukan yang diberikan oleh user pun terbilang cukup simpel dan memiliki keterangan yang disediakan oleh developer di situs mereka [1]. Input yang diberikan ke dalam Frame3DD adalah titik node, titik tumpuan, posisi batang beam, beban uniform, dan cross section properties pada node. Untuk properties beam, yang akan digunakan adalah properties default contoh frame3DD, steel A36. Untuk input-input yang diberikan, input tersebut dibagi menjadi 4 jenis, sloof, balok lantai, balok atap, dan kolom. Sloof hanya digunakan untuk beam yang berada pada lantai dasar yang kearah horizontal, kemudian balok lantai digunakan untuk beam yang berada pada lantai 2 dan 3 yang kearah horizontal, balok atap digunakan untuk beam yang berada di atap yang kearah horizontal, dan kolom digunakan untuk beam yang berdiri secara vertikal.

Save script tersebut dengan ekstensi csv kemudian file dibawa ke folder Frame3DD, dan kemudian klik “Frame3DD.exe” untuk memunculkan windows seperti pada gambar di bawah:
Ketik nama file csv yang dibuat, dalam hal ini, nama file tersebut adalah “komtekkerangka.csv” sehingga yang akan diinput kesitu adalah “komtekkerangka.csv.” Setelah itu muncul pertanyaan akan apa nama output untuk file hasil analisis finite-element melalui program Frame3DD, dalam hal ini, nama file output yang akan digunakan adalah “komtek.” Setelah itu pencet enter dan Frame3DD.exe akan memproses file csv yang telah diberikan. Setelah analisis selesai, akan terdapat dua file output, yaitu “komtek_out.csv” yang berisikan output data mengenai displacement, beban pada node, dll, dan “komtek.plt” yang berisikan output data yang telah diplot dalam bentuk gambar serta keadaan dinamis dari struktur tersebut.
